- This is the last episode to have South Africa & Japan as the 2 country intro, and the last episode with the warm-up "Lean Side To Side With One Leg".
- Grandmamma is wearing black shoes instead of her usual red shoes, she previously wore black shoes in The Bed.
- This episode is similar to Fido's Flag.
- The location in Storyworld is not very a good place because Grandpappa has some trouble struggling up the hill pursuing the flag, Grandmamma also has trouble trying to struggle up the hill with the other flag, but she kept slipping and sliding so much that she was kind of struggling, the hill is very steep and hard climbing that the location in Storyworld wouldn't have been a very good place for Grandmamma and Grandpappa, along with the other Storypeople to be around in, it even has deep sand so that would've also made it difficult for climbing the hill.
- Grandpappa has been absent for 4 episodes ever since Glowing Lanterns, even though he appears a lot in many episodes than the other Storypeople.
- This episode has the same Present Giving as Parping Horn.
